The Origin
I started young—not with stocks, but with supply chains. At 13, I was reverse-engineering Chinese freight forwarders for e-commerce, mapping how goods moved from factory to customer. When I moved into equities at 15, I made the classic mistake: I followed hype into a biotech pump-and-dump ATYR Pharma and lost 80% of my savings.
That loss forced me to build a real framework.
I started tracking CapEx flows from Mag 7 companies down the supply chain, analyzing 13F filings for institutional accumulation, and using AI to decode 10-K jargon into simple, actionable metrics—all while maintaining the core principles of value investing: margin of safety, moat analysis, and disciplined entry.
That framework became Atropos Finance.
I met my co-founder through a shared interest in markets. He was building algorithmic trading systems in his spare time, obsessed with data pipelines and execution logic. We realised that together—my investment thesis, his engineering—we could automate the research workflow that had taken me years to develop.
What We Built
Atropos Finance is the result: a live, data-driven equity research engine that, screens small and mid-cap growth stocks accross four independent data sources. Every analysis runs fresh, no cached data, no hallucinations, no stale pricing.
The frameworks scores every candidate against a fixed 13-criteria conviction model, generates probability matrices, and delivers chart level entry and exit plans. It separates business quality from current price: a great company at the wrong valuation is a "wait for pullback", not a buy.
Why It Matters
We didn't build this to compete with Bloomberg terminals. We built it because we were tired of tools that felt like they were designed for analysts in the 1990s. We wanted something fast, transparent, and disciplined - something that didn't guess, didn't embellish, and didn't charge a four-figure montlhy fee.
Two years of live screening have identified 40 stocks at 3-10x returns. We don't claim to have cracked the market. We just built a tool that works the way we think, and we're sharing it with anyone who wants to trade with the same clarity.
Important
Atropos Finance produces educational research and idea generation, not financial advice. Markets carry risk; always do your own diligence and consider a licensed financial advisor before trading.
